Online marketplaces are booming right now… and rightfully so.
Amazon, Airbnb, Uber, eBay, Etsy, Gumtree, Craigslist, etc… They have all proven the success of the marketplace model in today’s society.
If you can create a marketplace that solves a problem and makes life easier for two sides, there’s huge potential to grow and scale.
Whether you launch a subscription-based marketplace, sell one-off packages or take a commission per transaction, the revenue opportunities which come from marketplaces are massive.
I built my first marketplace when I was 18 years old and spent 3 years in an industry I had no interest in, I couldn’t relate or understand my customers and I was fixated on launching the ‘perfect’ platform which resulted in endless delays in getting the product to market…
I like to think of this venture as my university in business… Unfortunately It didn’t out as a success, however, I walked away with tons of lessons under my belt and a passion for building marketplaces.

After this experience I launched a marketplace that disrupted the product sourcing industry (eewoo.io). This was all down to incredible team that I assembled.
